Employing the Essential Skills of Communication in Healthcare Interactions
Abstract
In healthcare, healthcare professionals are constantly interacting with colleages, patients, and their families. Effective communication and meaningful conversations hinges upon employing essential skills of active listening. This encompasses knowing when it should be employed and which communication skill or technique functions well in the settings presented to to achieve the end-goal of a meaningful conversation.
