The importance of feedback lies in its potential to assist someone with growth and improvement. Successful feedback depends on how well it is communicated and received. This is a self-reflection on an experience where active listening and closed-loop communication may have changed consequences for the better. Active listening is hard work but not impossible to practice and perfect.
